Our heatproof glass is made from 100% pure and natural earth-friendly material. Superior in quality, it not only resists heat and corrosion, but can be safely used in a microwave.
We add 100% natural salt to prevent bubbles from forming and further increase strength and safety. Absolutely no heavy metals like arsenite or antimony are used and the white ink on the glass is lead-free.

HARIO's heatproof glass has been manufactured without smokestacks since 1972 thanks to unique technology that melts glass using electricity instead of oil.
The environmentally friendly process was ahead of its time and proved that glass factories didn’t have to be smoky and dusty. Our pollution-free factory doesn’t affect the local environment and provides a comfortable workplace for employees.
