About HARIO
Founded in 1921, HARIO has been making products that customers cherish.
HARIO means "The King of Glass"
HARIO is the only heatproof glass manufacturer in Japan with their own factory. We have been manufacturing and selling heatproof glass since its very inception, starting with laboratory glassware.
In 1948, HARIO expanded production to household items, starting with the coffee siphon. HARIO also began producing lenses for automotive headlights in 1980.
Today, HARIO continues to produce a wide variety of items from microwave-safe kitchenware to coffee and tea accessories, including the world-renowned V60 coffee brewer.
Our heatproof glass is made from 100% pure and natural earth-friendly material. Superior in quality, it not only resists heat and corrosion, but is also microwave-safe.
In 2021, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of HARIO. We intend to continue making heatproof glass worthy of the HARIO name for another 100 or 200 years by always passing on our expertise to the next generation to enrich people’s lives.
